How To Get To Proserpine From Airlie Beach

Most visitors to the Whitsundays won't actually be staying in the small town of Proserpine, but in the bustling coastal town of Airlie Beach. However, the Whitsunday Coast Airport is located in Proserpine, making Show Whitsunday a convenient stop on the way to or from the airport.

If you are renting a car for your stay in Airlie Beach, you can drive yourself to Proserpine in just 30 minutes. However, Airlie Beach is a walkable town and you don't necessarily need a car for your stay in the Whitsundays. You can rent a car for a day if you want to explore more of the mainland and attend the Proserpine Show, which is a more affordable option!
