Snorkelling
After disembarking, our first port of call will be snorkelling. Over two unreal days and nights, your enthusiastic crew will lead you to several different world-class snorkelling sites. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the inner fringing reefs of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and get close and personal to our beloved marine life. This is truly nature at its best - get ready to brush shoulders with green sea turtles, giant Maori Wrasse and angelfish. High-quality snorkel equipment and wetsuits are available for all passengers to use free of charge!
Hill Inlet Lookout
The everchanging Hill Inlet Lookout is something out of a Picasso painting - with swirling sands and creamy blue hues, you need to see it to truly believe it. Your crew will guide you to the lookout point above Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, allowing you to soak up the best view around. With its quicksilver nature, the sands below morph into masterpieces of aqua, azure and topaz as the colours of the ocean seamlessly blend with the world-renowned white silica sand.

Powerplay and her crew will be delighted to take you onwards to the spectacular Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island. This incredible beach is located at the heart of the region, with its dreamy white silica sands and warm blue waters famous worldwide. You’ll never want to leave!
Stand-Up Paddleboards
Powerplay offers a range of colourful paddleboards so you can make a splash to your heart’s content! Have fun and view the superb marine life from above as you glide across the deep blue in style. So try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding and surprise yourself as you move smoothly through the pristine ocean with ease! All of the equipment and instruction for our onboard stand-up paddleboarding are provided, making this water activity a fresh and exciting way to explore the reef for everyone!
Heated Spa
The heated spa on Powerplay is the cherry on top - who doesn’t love to warm up after a cool ocean dip? But it’s not only for warming up, it’s also the perfect place to relax and hang out with your pals. Enjoy an evening beverage in the warmth of the spa or lay back, relax and spend your spa-time stargazing. There’s no better place to spot the constellations than the middle of the ocean!
If you’re looking for a dry-alternative to spa-gazing, opt to relax in the bow trampoline nets.
Blue Lights
As the delightful days come to an end, it’s time to turn on the underwater blue lights for some groovy evening entertainment. Embedded in the aft hulls, Powerplay boasts two blue lights that are perfect for attracting an incredible array of marine activity including giant trevallies, huge batfish and dolphins! The light works by attracting bait fish and squid, who then lure in predators like sharks and dolphins to the back of the boat. Watching the fish dart around the boat is a fascinating and unique experience that will leave you in awe of our wonderful world.

Important Information:
Please note that this tour is not suitable for children under 16 years of age.
As Powerplay is very water-orientated, you MUST be able to swim to board the boat, and for safety reasons, you must also be able to speak English. If you do not fit these requirements, you may not be able to book this tour.
Your Responsibilities:
You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.
It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.
It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.
You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time.
Prices/Extra Costs:
All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply.
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.
We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.
Travel Risk/Insurance:
It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances.
Merchant Fees:
Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.
Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:
Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value.
E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees.
You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.
Cancellations
Client Cancellations:
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
Transfers between tours can be made at the suppliers discretion, however, it should be noted that supplier fees may apply. Tour transfers also incur a $20 administration fee. A $40 per person transfer fee applies to all name or date changes.
It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to admin@mr-travel.com. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.
Supplier Cancellations:
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.
All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.
Powerplay is an adventure sailing tour and does not cancel due to rain, clouds or strong winds. The Whitsundays is deemed partially smooth waters and tours will only be cancelled if the Regional Harbour Master closes the area or if the operator or Skipper of the boat deems the weather to be unsafe. The safety of our guests and our Crew are our highest priority and our vessel Operators or Crew reserve the right to vary itineraries for safety and passenger comfort.
In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.
Refunds:
All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.
Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.
You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.
Accountability/Misconduct:
All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based off of feedback from other Service Operators.

Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel will treat this as any normal client cancellation and therefore the cancellation fees stated in the Client Cancellation Policy will apply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I store my luggage?
We don't recommend taking large bags or suitcases on Powerplay. However, we offer luggage storage for as little as $10 a day in our Travel Shop which is located at the top of Airlie Beach's main street. The address is 344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach, QLD, 4802.
How do I find the meeting point for Powerplay?
Powerplay departs from the North End of Coral Sea Marina (meeting point B) under the umbrellas. If you head towards Sorrento's bar, then you're pretty much in the right place.
Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free diets, etc?
Yes, however, if you do have dietary requirements, there will be an additional charge of $10 per day. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary requirements and the crew will do their best to accommodate.
Can I come on Powerplay if I can't swim?
This is decided on a case-by-case basis, and would need to be discussed at the time of booking
Do you supply snorkelling equipment?
Yes, snorkelling gear including masks, snorkels and stingersuits are provided (no fins).
Can I bring alcohol on board?
Yes, you are able to bring your own alcohol but you cannot bring glass or red wine. You also cannot bring excessive amounts of alcohol - the absolute maximum is 24 cans of beer (preferably lite), one box of wine, or 1/2 bottle of spirits per person.
Is this tour child friendly?
No, unfortunately this isn't a child friendly tour. Powerplay is strictly 16 years and above.
Are the cabins air-conditioned?
Yes, the private cabins are air-conditioned.
Is there a shower on board?
Yes, there are two bathrooms and hot showers.
Can you smoke on board?
Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
Can I charge my phone on board?
Yes, there are charging ports in the main saloon.
What is the minimum age for travelling on this trip?
The minimum age for Powerplay is 16. Please note that the recommended age group is for those aged 16-45.
What are marine blue lights?
Blue lights are used to attract more fish to come near the boat
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

Are there any types of alcohol that aren't permitted on board?

I would recommend but I do think it's a bit expensive and should be easier to book direct. Mora and Ed are a great team and they made the experience amazing. The boat was clean and tidy.

The weather was not great for our time on the Powerplay, but we really enjoyed the other passengers and had a great time! Our skipper was a bit intense and didn’t have great knowledge of some of the mechanical things (generator, motor, etc) but was still a good time.

I wasn't good at English and I was embarrassed, but the crew members were so friendly. I could see various marine life, and the meals on the ship were so neat and fresh. The emerald sea, the coast, countless stars in the night sky, and colorful coral reefs were so touching.

We had an amazing time, we are an older couple but from the moment we met the skipper and hostie we felt comfortable & welcomed on board. Due to the weather, the water was a bit murky when we went snorkeling, but Chris (skipper) really tried to give us a great experience.

Experience was overall great! Cabins are super comfortable, great company, great learning about the islands from Chris. Mary-anne is a super star! The locations we visited were out of this world. This trip has been one of the best tours I have been on. Steph and Jordy made the entire trip enjoyable and they mixed safety with fun. They were accommodating and and ensured we were always having a great time. Ed was really knowledgeable in where to take us and made sure we were all comfortable. All 3 of the crew worked really well together. The boat is great and the spa was awesome fun! We were never hungry and always having fun. The perfect combo!

We had a 2 day 2 night tour on the catamaran Powerplay, we had an awesome time with skipper Jimmy and hosts goldie and Caroline! They made this trip a memorable one. We have been to multiple snorkelling spots, some with very nice coral reefs and other spots with all kinds of sea life, very big fish with many colours. You can also take a kayak or paddleboard to explore the anchor spots.

I had a great trip on Powerplay! The whole crew was kind & very welcoming. This was my first time on an overnight cruise & I was more then happy with the experience. As a solo traveler I was sleeping in the main area. The beds were comfy with lots of room.

Jumping on a Powerplay tour was the best decision I've made in a long time. Both our host, Tori and Skipper, Wazza, worked around the clock to provide an epic tour. From getting us to Whitehaven Beach early so we beat the crowds to serving up round after round of amazing food - it is an incredible operation. If you're struggling to pick a boat in the Whitsundays- I highly recommend Powerplay. I will be back!!

I've enjoyed every single moment on this boat. because they let you have the time to do all the activities without stressing you out. Captain Adrian, Goldie and Mila did well to Provide a related, chilled and fun environment, very much engaging with the people on the boat. Lunch and dinner were delicious with plenty for everyone. Got a chance to swim with turtles as well which was a welcoming surprise.

We went on the two night trip on Powerplay and would definitely recommend. We had an excellent group of people and Tor, Jimmy and Adrian made sure we had everything we needed, including games in the evening to get everyone having fun! The food was lovely and we were given plenty to eat throughout the day. We swam with stingrays on Whitehaven and spent plenty of time snorkelling and we even saw TURTLES! I wouldn't change a thing, it was perfect, thanks guys!

Best two days of my life. The POWERPLAY boat was perfect and although it may look small and there are 18 people on it I never felt like I was crowded. Chad and Wazza made the experience amazing and would highly recommend them to anyone going on this trip. The food was delicious and there was plenty for even seconds most meals. You never went hungry! The two snorkeling spots we went to were unbelievable one that focused on the local beautiful fish and one all about the coral. Airlie Beach where the boat leaves from is a cute little beach town with everything you need! You get your moneys worth for this trip! Love my powerplay fam!

We choose the boat called Powerplay after chatting with a very friendly woman online. And it was the best decision we could have made. Tom, Goldie and Chad did such a great job. We enjoyed going snorkelling and stand-up paddling. With Chad we went to white heaven beach just at the perfect time, we had the beach on our own. The crew was very friendly and was like a part our of group, you can see that they are loving their jobs! Thanks for a wonderful time. Very good and varied food, mostly enough for everyone. Clean and comfortable boat with a nice spa and chill out area! The dolphin light in the night time was amazing and we saw one!! exceeded my expectations, we had am amazing time!

The food was really good and the vessel was well maintained. The dive instructor was great and the hostess tried realy hard with great photos taken on the beach. This boat was recommended to me by a friend. Thanks guys

The Crew were alway friendly and upbeat, they got the crowd going even when they were a bit quiet. The food was of good standard and there was always plenty for everyone

It was an amazing trip for sailing around the whitsundays. I loved the snorkling on the fringing reefs, getting to see the coral was mesmerising.
