Where can I store my luggage?
We don't recommend taking large bags or suitcases on Powerplay. However, we offer luggage storage for as little as $10 a day in our Travel Shop which is located at the top of Airlie Beach's main street. The address is 344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach, QLD, 4802.
How do I find the meeting point for Powerplay?
Powerplay departs from the North End of Coral Sea Marina (meeting point B) under the umbrellas. If you head towards Sorrento's bar, then you're pretty much in the right place.
Do you cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free diets, etc?
Yes, however, if you do have dietary requirements, there will be an additional charge of $10 per day. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary requirements and the crew will do their best to accommodate.
Can I come on Powerplay if I can't swim?
This is decided on a case-by-case basis, and would need to be discussed at the time of booking
Do you supply snorkelling equipment?
Yes, snorkelling gear including masks, snorkels and stingersuits are provided (no fins).
Can I bring alcohol on board?
Yes, you are able to bring your own alcohol but you cannot bring glass or red wine. You also cannot bring excessive amounts of alcohol - the absolute maximum is 24 cans of beer (preferably lite), one box of wine, or 1/2 bottle of spirits per person.
Is this tour child friendly?
No, unfortunately this isn't a child friendly tour. Powerplay is strictly 16 years and above.
Are the cabins air-conditioned?
Yes, the private cabins are air-conditioned.
Is there a shower on board?
Yes, there are two bathrooms and hot showers.
Can you smoke on board?
Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
Can I charge my phone on board?
Yes, there are charging ports in the main saloon.
What is the minimum age for travelling on this trip?
The minimum age for Powerplay is 16. Please note that the recommended age group is for those aged 16-45.
What are marine blue lights?
Blue lights are used to attract more fish to come near the boat
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
Powerplay is not wheelchair accessible
Which snorkelling spots may we visit on Powerplay?
Spots often visited include Luncheon Bay, Mantaray Bay, Cockatoo Point, Mackerel Bay amongst others
How many people can fit in the hot tub?
Up to 6 people at one time
Is it safe to use the hot tub whilst pregnant?
It is not safe to use the hot tub during pregnancy
Is there WIFI on board?
Yes, there is Wifi onboard!
Are towels provided on board?
Towels are provided, however guests are welcome to bring their own if preferred

What type of bags are allowed on Powerplay?
Due to limited space, please just bring a small-medium sized overnight bag. Any larger bags or suitcases an be stored at The Travel Shop
Is there a parking facility available?
Parking is available at Coral Sea Marina, daily rates apply
What shoes are most practical to wear?
Everyone is required to be barefoot whilst on the boat, however for the hike to Hill Inlet, it's recommended to wear trainers/crocs/sandals/thongs
Is there a limit to how much alcohol I can bring on board?
Yes, 24 cans, one box of wine or half a bottle of spirit per person
Are there any types of alcohol that aren't permitted on board?
Red wine is the only alcohol not permitted on Powerplay
Which days does Powerplay depart?
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
