Blue Pearl Bay, Whitsundays
Blue Pearl Bay is certainly a favourite site for the day and overnight sailing trips in the Whitsundays, simply for its incredibly clear, blue water, unique marine species and colourful coral formations.
For snorkelers and divers alike, Blue Pearl Bay located on the northern end of Hayman Island offers exciting underwater caves, bommies, drop-offs and swim-throughs to explore and when you are not in the water, you can relax on the nearby beach which is accessible by tender.
This sheltered bay area features many special coral species of the reefs and is the home of the resident humphead Maori Wrasse 'Priscilla' who enjoys swimming alongside snorkelers and divers.
