Whitsunday Plaza

The Whitsunday Plaza shopping centre (previously known as Centro) is located at the end of Cannonvale, 5km from the town of Airlie. The air-conditioned plaza is lifesaving during those humid summer months as you can shop in absolute comfort and escape the heat. From retail stores to beauty salons, the plaza has plenty to keep you occupied. Amongst the stores is a Woolworths supermarket, Big W and Best & Less which is super handy - especially if you’re on holiday and forgot to pack that extra pair of underwear or a phone charger!

Port of Airlie

A marina and a row of shop

Visit the Port of Airlie for a prestigious shopping experience. Located along the marina are classy boutiques and niche beauty salons. Get a taste of Airlie the moment you step off your cruise, tender, catamaran or superyacht and explore the shops on offer. Start or end your time in Airlie on a high by buying a locally made souvenir from Above and Below or a fresh outfit from Billabong. Once you're all 'shopped out', grab a coffee at Rufus & Co and watch the marine world go by.
