Mushroom Valley 2024
It’s not long until Mushroom Valley 2024 gets underway, and there’s a buzz about Airlie Beach as lucky ticket-holders get ready for their festival weekend!
The three-day festival is one of the most highly-anticipated Whitsundays events of the year, with people travelling from far and wide to take part in the fun. Located between Airlie Beach and Mackay, this magical festival is just a stone's throw away from the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Here’s everything that festival-goers can expect from this week’s festivities!
What is Mushroom Valley?
Mushroom Valley is so much more than your standard, run-of-the-mill festival. This is an enchanting, bohemian playground nestled into the Whitsundays countryside! Stroll through trippy campsites, stages, and stalls and treat your senses to a weekend of music, art, and good energy. Between performances, take part in workshops, feast on a mouth-watering line-up of food stalls, treat yourself to some reiki or a massage in the healing village, or take part in a workshop and learn something new.
Who goes to Mushroom Valley?
This festival is family-friendly, and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Those under 15 may attend for free when attending with a parent or guardian.
That being said, it’s important to be aware that Mushroom Valley attracts a diverse range of attendees due to the immersive, free-spirited atmosphere it offers. Mushroom Valley organisers have made it clear that their priority is creating a safe, fun, and respectful environment for all ages, with lots of policies and staff procedures in place to ensure everyone has a fantastic time.
