Check out the festival main stage in the Whitsunday Sailing Club for impressive ocean views and some tunes from talented headliners. Spanning over three days, from the 5th to the 7th of November 2021, Airlie Beach Festival of Music will transform the Whitsundays into a hub of entertainment, dancing and good times under the sun.
Discover the musical wonders and summer vibes at locally-owned venues as you soak up the salt, sun and sand and party in paradise. Last year’s Airlie Beach Festival of Music was sadly cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, which have hit both the tourism and entertainment industries severely over the last two years.
Founder of the festival, Gavin Butlin, is absolutely stoked to see this unique, multi-day party in paradise go ahead.
“Having to cancel the 2020 Festival was devastating so I am beyond thrilled to welcome a stellar line-up of artists and musicians to play venues throughout the gorgeous Airlie Beach,” Mr Butlin says.
“We need to support the next generation of internationally famous Australian acts so I invite everyone to check out the Festival’s incredible program and support live, original music at a grassroots level.”
This year’s festival will feature new and exclusive Passport to Airlie performances, in which talented finalist artists compete in Australia’s largest music competition. The stakes are high and the music is exceptional, as the winner secures themselves a spot on the main stage for Airlie Beach Festival of Music 2022.
