Providence V is a classic 62-foot gaff-rigged schooner built from Queensland timber and is considered a baby tall ship, perfect for sailing around the Whitsundays. During your day trip, you can catch a breeze as you cruise around the Whitsundays to snorkel, swim and sail. You will get to see some of the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, as well as the beauty that lies below the surface during your snorkel at the colourful reefs of Dumbell Island. Providence offers the perfect trip for your whole family to have an authentic Whitsundays experience.
Providence has long been a Whitsundays staple and is a replica of the American Blackfish, a Gloucester schooner, which were some of the first boats to compete in America's Cup. She also starred in a Hollywood movie in 1992, Survive the Savage Seas, which was filmed in Australia.
