The first official World Boating Day was celebrated on the 25th May 2024. This year, on the 24th May 2025, the second ever World Boating Day is inspiring community events all over the globe.

The skills, freedom, and adventure that accompany a life of boating is something truly special, and this new worldwide event is designed to enhance that connection with nature and foster community spirit.

For the first World Boating Day in 2024, shipyards and boating companies all over the world opened their doors to the public. This made the sometimes exclusive and prestigious boating industry more open and accessible, with over 1,000 attendees at some events.
