Important Information
Scuba diving is optional and dive fees are payable onboard (age and medical status dependent). Each passenger must have a clear understanding of safety directions and instructions given in English by the crew and be able to complete the required safety forms in English. A passenger is only able to participate in water activities if they have a level of swimming experience. If a passenger is unable to swim they will still be able to participate in the sailing trip, but will not but able to participate in water activities such as snorkelling. In order to meet our minimum safety standards, passengers must be able to exit the vessel unassisted in the unlikely case of an emergency. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us.
If you have any dietary requirements (gluten-free, celiac, lactose-free, dairy-free, or vegan) there will be a fee of $10 per day to cater towards those needs. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any requirements.

Whitehaven Beach
You will spend an afternoon on the iconic Whitehaven Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The pure white silica sands will stay cool under your feet as you explore around, taking the time to walk some of its 7km shores. Voted one of the best beaches in the world and the best in Australia, it is a favourite stop in the Whitsundays.
Hill Inlet and Whitsunday National Park
Your trip on Kiana includes a guided bushwalk through the Whitsunday National park and a visit to the spectacular Hill Inlet Lookout. Guests will get to visit the famous lookout and see the amazing and mesmerising swirling sands below, which are constantly changing and never the same. This is the third most photographed place in all of Australia and for good reason - the unique view is world-famous.
Scuba Diving
Diving is definitely a major focus on board, and our crew will ensure that even first-time divers feel safe and are able to enjoy the splendour of our magnificent coral reefs. The crew love to dive so much they want everyone to try scuba diving by offering the 1st scuba dive FREE! This will allow you to relax with the equipment, feel comfortable underwater if it is the first time, and of course improve your abilities for future diving. The crew onboard are all fully qualified Dive Instructors and Divemasters. All the dive equipment is new and the boat also includes its own diving compressors. Please note that scuba diving is subject to age, medical questionnaire and conditions.

Hook Island
On this trip, you will visit some of the best dive and snorkelling site in the Whitsunday Islands, located at the north end of Hook Island. Sites such as Luncheon Bay, Mantaray Bay and Mackerel Bay will take your breath away. The beautiful soft and hard corals, diverse marine life and colourful finned residents provide the perfect playground for exploring, ideal for both snorkellers and divers. The gentle beach provides the perfect platform for first time divers, where they can ease themselves into the water.
Bait Reef
Bait Reef is the choice Outer Reef destination in the Whitsundays. It is totally protected under the Great Barrier Reef Plan of Management and is abundant in marine life and corals, ready to be explored. The natural lagoon provides a safe haven for overnight mooring and is an Eden for snorkelling and scuba diving. Bait Reef is about 2 - 3 hours beyond the islands and provides a picturesque journey, with an unbroken horizon and beautiful blue waters.
Whale Watching
During June through September, each year vast number of whales migrate from Antarctica to the Whitsundays to give birth to calves and to mate. The most common whale that you will see during this period are humpbacks although occasionally other types such as minkies can be spotted.

Scuba Diving:
Scuba diving is optional. Divers must be 18 years or over, or 12 years or older with parental consent (conditions permitting). Scuba diving pricing is as follows:
- 1st dive = FREE
- 2nd dive = $100
- 3rd dive = $80
- Additional Dives = $70 each (conditions permitting)
These prices are subject to change and are to be used as a guide only. Please bring cash (AUD) as there are no credit card facilities onboard.
Dietary Requirements:
If you have any dietary requirements (gluten-free, celiac, lactose-free, dairy-free or fad diets), there will be a fee of $20 per person to cater towards those needs.

Dive Medical Certificate:
Your safety in the water is our primary concern. Please read through the following information carefully to determine whether you require a Dive Medical Certificate (at own cost).
If you are aged 45 and over and you would like to participate in an Introductory Scuba Dive you will be required to present a Dive Medical Certificate onboard. This does not apply for certified divers.

- Do you currently have an ear infection?
- Do you have a history of ear disease, hearing loss or problems with balance?
- Do you have a history of ear or sinus surgery?
- Are you currently suffering from a cold, congestion, sinusitis or bronchitis?
- Do you have a history of respiratory problems, severe attack of hayfever or allergies, or lung disease?
- Have you had a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) or history of chest surgery?
- Do you have active asthma or history of asthma, emphysema or tuberculosis?
- Are you currently taking medication that carries a warning about any impairment of your physical or mental abilities?
- Do you have behavioural health problems or a nervous system disorder?
- Are you or could you be pregnant?
- Do you have a history of colostomy?
- Do you have a history of heart disease or heart attack, heart surgery or blood vessel surgery?
- Do you have a history of high blood pressure, angina, or take medication to control blood pressure?
- Are you over 45 and have a family history of heart attack or stroke?
- Do you have a history of bleeding or other blood disorders?

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, you are required to obtain and present a current (issued within the past 12 months) Divers Medical Certificate before you can scuba dive.

Terms and Conditions
Important Information:
To enable the Tour Operator to meet their duty of care and establish an acceptable level of risk, EACH passenger must have a clear understanding of safety directions and instructions given in English by the crew and be able to complete the required safety forms in English. A passenger is only able to participate in water activities if they have a level of swimming experience. If a passenger is unable to swim they will still be able to participate in the sailing trip, but will not but able to participate in water activities such as snorkelling. In order to meet our minimum safety standards, passengers must be able to climb a 1.5 meter high ladder unassisted and be able to exit the vessel unassisted in the unlikely case of an emergency.
Your Responsibilities:
Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip.
You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.
It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.
It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.
You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time.
Scuba Diving:
Your safety in the water is our primary concern. Scuba dives are subject to weather, other conditions and the dive instructors discretion. To ensure your comfort and safety divers must be over the age of 18 years, or 12 years with parental consent (conditions permitting). Divers with certain medical conditions will require a Divers Medical Certificate. Divers over the age of 45 years will also require a Divers Medical Certificate.
Certified divers must be able to show their certification card and photo identification.
Prices/Extra Costs:
All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply.
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.
We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.
Travel Risk/Insurance:
It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances.
Merchant Fees:
Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.
Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:
Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value.
E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees.
You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.
Cancellations
Client Cancellations:
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
Transfers between tours can be made at the suppliers discretion, however, it should be noted that supplier fees may apply. Tour transfers also incur a $20 administration fee.
It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to admin@mr-travel.com. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.
Supplier Cancellations:
The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.
All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.
In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.
Refunds:
All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.
Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.
You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.
Accountability/Misconduct:
All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based off of feedback from other Service Operators.
