Whitsundays Ngaro Sea Trail
As the homeland to the Ngaro people for the last 9000 years, the Whitsundays has an incredible history and many sites around the islands still hold great significance to the descendants.
With the Ngaro continuing their connection to the land, visitors to the region are welcomed to their homeland and can experience the Whitsundays Ngaro Sea Trail.
This incredible journey takes lucky trekkers through some of the most magical sites on Whitsunday Island, South Molle Island and Hook Island, though forest areas, tropical rainforest and grasslands.
Along the way, there are some great opportunities to sight the native flora and fauna and really appreciate the beautiful view of the islands and aqua coloured Coral Sea.
If you have some time up your sleeve while in the Whitsundays, the Ngaro Sea Trail offers an incredible experience unlike any other.
