Whitsunday Reef Festival

Ask any local, and they will often tell you that The Whitsunday Reef Festival is truly one of the best times of the year to visit our region and watch the whole town come alive!

The festival has something for everyone - enjoy starlight movies, the hilarious Comedy Gala and Frocktails Fashion Show. Make a Recyclable Raft and battle it out on the lagoon or create a sand sculpture on the beach. The kids will love the Telstra Family Fun Day for fun and games down on their beautiful foreshore as well as the carnival rides in the car park over the weekend.

Don't miss their major events - Friday Night Fireworks on the foreshore and the Rotary Street Parade where the whole community comes out in force to celebrate their fantastic North Queensland lifestyle. Live music will be playing and the bar will be open all weekend during Airlie's Main Street Party so come and party Whitsunday style!
