Rum Bar Regatta

The Rum Bar Maxi Regatta is an event that aims to 'open' Airlie Beach's premier month of sailing due in August of 2014. The event will have 10 classic maxi yachts come back to life with crew member spots to be bought by sailing enthusiasts, amateurs and/or general public that have no prior sailing knowledge or experience. The event will be the first of it's kind to be held close to shore, within visual range of spectators lining the shore of Airlie Beach. The event invites spectators to line the shores of Airlie Beach and recreational boating (spectator boats) will be a one in a lifetime experience.
