Rumour has it that Taylor Swift could make another appearance on Hamilton Island in Queensland’s Whitsundays. Hamilton Island is a resort island located within 74 Whitsunday Islands, and is home to a marina, an airport, a golf course, shops, and more!

Taylor Swift is currently in Australia on her Eras World Tour, having just performed three shows in Melbourne over the weekend, and has four upcoming shows in Sydney this weekend. And rumour has it she may be needing a break between performing, so what better place to go than to the sunny Whitsundays?!

Not only is Taylor rumoured to revisit the Whitsundays, this time her boyfriend, American Football star, Travis Kelce might just be meeting up with her. The rumour sparked when he mentioned he could be making a trip to Australia to meet up with Taylor. On his podcast, New Heights, he mentioned he might "venture to an island real soon", and we can't help but hope he's implying Hamilton Island!

When did Taylor Swift last visit the Whitsundays?

Back in 2015, the 14-time Grammy Award winner, Taylor Swift visited the Whitsundays during her 1989 World Tour. She was spotted on Hamilton Island with her entire crew (125 people). Taylor stayed at the secluded qualia resort, and spent her time interacting with the local staff, meeting the wildlife and relaxing on the beach with her crew. She even performed a private concert for the staff on the island!

Where did Taylor Swift stay on Hamilton Island?

When Taylor Swift visited Hamilton Island, she stayed at the 6-star resort, qualia. qualia (yes, the ‘q’ is actually lowercase) is an exclusive and luxurious resort nestled into the secluded hills of Hamilton Island. The gated resort is around $1640 AUD per night, and there is a two night minimum stay. Although qualia is expensive, it is worth every penny. The resort has panoramic views of the Whitsundays, an authentic Australian touch, plenty of privacy (no wonder Taylor Swift chose to stay), fine dining, spa facilities, and quality service.
