Apollo is popular among the backpacking crowd and those aged 18-30 with its social atmosphere of 26 guests, fun, experienced crew and exciting itinerary.
The trip begins at full speed with Apollo being a renowned sailing machine with a fantastic racing history, and guests have the chance to assist the crew set the sails and pull the ropes, or just sit back and relax on the deck.
Each destination on Apollo’s itinerary is as amazing as the last, and with onboard scuba facilities, passengers are able to dive at some of the best sites around the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and even undertake a night dive.
Apollo also offers one free dive to all passengers to experience their first scuba, or there is snorkelling equipment for those who prefer to browse the fringing reefs at their leisure.
Afterwards set sail to the most famous beach of them all – Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island and experience the magic of the pure white silica sand which actually squeaks.
Here, guests can spend time on the beach, wade in the shallow water, and just enjoy exploring, relaxing and bushwalking.
Back onboard Apollo, enjoy freshly-prepared meals by the crew, curl up with a book, socialise with fellow guests and enjoy a drink out on the deck – the perfect way to end a day in paradise.
