Join Providence V for an all-inclusive sailing trip in the Whitsundays
Providence V offers the ultimate sailing experience in the Whitsunday Islands. This is an all inclusive trip which takes guests across the famous Whitsunday Passage to Whitehaven Beach. Guests also have the opportunity to learn the ropes on this classic tall ship as you sail along, taking time to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding ocean and islands. There are both day trips and sunset cruises, catering to all types of travellers.
Providence V is a classic 62-foot gaff-rigged schooner built from Queensland Timber and is considered to be a baby tall ship, which is perfect for sailing around the Whitsundays. During your day trip, you can catch a breeze as you cruise though the Whitsundays to snorkel, swim and sail. You will get to see some of the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, as well as the beauty that lies below the surface during your snorkel at the colourful reefs of Dumbell Island. Providence offers the perfect trip for your whole family to have an authentic Whitsundays experience.
Providence has long been a Whitsundays staple and is a replica of the American Blackfish, a Gloucester schooner, which were some of the first boats to compete in the America's Cup. She also starred in a Hollywood movie in 1992 Survive the Savage Seas, which was filmed in Australia.
