Hill Inlet, Sailing Whitsundays,

Whitehaven Beach
Guests on board Eureka II will get to enjoy a stop at the ever-so stunning Whitehaven Beach. It is located on the largest island of the 74 Whitsunday Islands, providing a perfect beach escape.

Whitehaven Beach, White sands, Eureka 2, Sailing Whitsundays

Hill Inlet Lookout
A short bushwalk inland will lead you to the equally famous Hill Inlet Lookout, which will give you unparalleled views of the beach below and the swirling sands of Hill Inlet. The swirling sands below are created through the ever-changing tides that leave behind a kaleidoscope of blue and white. Capture this moment in a photo and in memory while onboard Eureka II.

Hill Inlet, Sailing Whitsundays. Couple having fun

The crew on board Eureka II will take you to all the hot spots in the area and provide you with all the necessary gear and tuition if you need it. Below the waterline, the Whitsundays offers an array of colourful corals and amazing marine mammals and fish. The waters are a pristine blue and a beautiful temperature year-round. Because of the low passenger numbers, this vessel can get to locations that are more remote and off the beaten track so you're guaranteed a unique experience without the crowds.

"An amazing boat, skipper and crew. Beautiful sailing and great food. Mal is such a professional and makes everyone feel so relaxed - never rushes anything! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience."
"We've had a very pleasant trip on the Eureka II. For two days we were sailing in the Whitsundays Island Area. Mel and his crew were excellent boatsmen and hosts. The food was very good and they brought us the most beautiful and exclusive spots. It was great to be first on the Whitehaven beach before the crowds arrive. Next time Eureka II again!"
"Awesome - everything I was going for. Eureka II is NOT a party boat, but is very sociable and is more about the sailing, sightseeing, sociable experience. We had a mix of guests, happy to have a drink and chat in the evening. "
"The crew were highly professional, very friendly and very committed to making sure we got the most out of our trip. The food was excellent, accommodation comfortable and overall this was a fantastic choice. We had great weather and went to a number of beautiful locations to swim or snorkel, including Whitehaven Beach where we had 4hrs (more than most other boats) and had it to ourselves for a while!"
"Absolute top-notch sailing with professional, experienced sailors!"
"Fantastic trip - it exceeded our expectations! Having never been on such a trip, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I had an awesome time. The boat (Eureka II) is in great shape and Captain Mel does an awesome job of ensuring everyone is very well taken care of and having a great time. He timed our stops at various locations so that we had plenty of time to explore, snorkel, or just plain enjoy the beaches. The bunks are stiff, but I guess that's to be expected on a sail boat. Captain Mel even arranged to have me trade bunks with a younger guy so I'd have more room - many thanks! The food was better than I had expected. It was great to have it waiting for us after being out snorkelling or enjoying time on the beach. The deck hands were very entertaining and humorous so I enjoyed the playful bantering. We even had some trainees on board, so we enjoyed the instruction Captain Mel gave them and we learned alot about sailing and the boat. My compliments to Captain Mel and his helpers. You far exceeding our expectations and I would heartily recommend Captain Mel and the Eureka II if you looking for a 3 day sailing trip! "
