How long is this trip?
It's up to you! When you purchase this package, you receive two tours at a discounted rate. Our friendly travel agents will then book you into your preferred dates for both your Whitsunday Island day trip and your K'gari 4WD day tour. Please note that dates are subject to availability.
We recommend giving yourself a week for the whole trip, including travel time between the Sunshine Coast and Airlie Beach, with plenty of time to discover Noosa, Rainbow Beach and Airlie Beach along the way! Which tour is first?
This package is super flexible, so you can choose! Whether you start with your Whitsunday Island day trip and finish with your K'gari day tour, or vice versa, these tours can work around your schedule.
How long does it take to get between Airlie Beach and K'gari (Fraser Island)?
The journey between Rainbow Beach (the gateway to K'gari) and Airlie Beach (the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands) is an 11-hour drive (without stops). The Greyhound Bus from Rainbow Beach to Airlie Beach takes between 14.5 to 16.5 hours.
We recommend giving yourself a week for this package, allowing plenty of time to explore the East Coast of Australia!
Is transport included?
Transport is not included in the standard package. However, a Greyhound Whimit Bus Pass or campervan, are popular add-ons and we can offer you a discounted rate if you need a hand travelling between destinations. Is accommodation included?
Accommodation isn't included in this package, however, our travel agents can book premium hostels for you along the East Coast. Just enquire in the live chat about discount deals... we'll sort your trip out seamlessly!
Can I do the tours back-to-back?
Due to the 11-hour journey between Airlie Beach and Rainbow Beach, we recommend giving yourself at least one or two days between the end of your first tour and the beginning of your second.
Are meals included?
Both tours include all meals plus snacks throughout the day! In total you will receive 2 lunches plus some desserts, sunset snacks, and morning teas.
Can you cater to my dietary requirements?
Common dietary requirements like vegetarian and gluten-free can be catered for upon request. If you have dietary requirements, please let our travel agents know ASAP so they can confirm and arrange for any changes. Charges may be applicable to dietary requirements.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes, both of these tours are suitable for children over 4! Child seats are not permitted for your K'gari tour, however, passengers can bring a booster seat compatible with seat belts.
