Party Bands in Paradise 2022
Airlie Beach Festival of Music is back with their next stellar music event, Party Bands in Paradise!
From April 1st to 3rd 2022, the iconic Party Bands in Paradise will be held at the boutique Cape Gloucester Resort in the beautiful Hydeaway Bay. With a teeming lineup, intimate tropical setting, and onsite camping, festival-goers are urged to get their tickets early to avoid missing out!

Get ready to boogie with friends and family to 18 iconic bands over the three days, including the Aussie rockers Spy v Spy, and Sarah McLeod the dynamic frontwoman from The Superjesus and Bongo Starkie’s Skyhooks Show!
The Party Bands in Paradise line-up will also include local legend Keiran McCarthy and his full band, the Jingo Brothers featuring Jolly Jingo, popular singer-songwriter Andrew Cousins, and comedian Steady Eddy, in addition to a sought-after line-up of local Whitsundays and Mackay talent! There truly is something for every music fan this April at Hydeaway Bay!
A limited number of onsite camping passes are available for $250, which include 3 nights of camping at the Cape Gloucester Resort and festival entry. Standard three-day passes are $190 and include free bus transport between the festival and Hydeaway Bay Caravan Park and Dingo Beach Hotel.
After a huge success in 2021, festival promoter Gavin ‘Butto’ Butlin is urging those interested to get their tickets fast before they sell out!
“Party Bands sold out in no time last year and with this awesome line-up, it is sure to again. Where else can you see 18 quality live music acts backing onto one of the most beautiful beaches in the world?” he said.
Tourism Whitsundays Chief Executive Officer, Rick Hamilton said “It’s great to see so many Whitsundays events coming back bigger and better than ever!”
