New Horizon Sailing Tour
For the socialite travellers, wanting to party and meet like-minded people, New Horizon is the vessel for you.
With its great value, and added watersports toys, New Horizon is a hit among the backpacking crowd, groups of friends and generally those those aged 18-30 wanting to socialise while sailing in paradise.
This traditional sailing boat has it all with a feature waterslide from the top deck, movie theatre area, huge deck space, open plan saloon area as well as stand-up paddle boards for exploring.
True Blue Sailing have recently partnered with Pioneer Jet to offer guests two new water sport activities to try out: jet boat and banana boat rides! Available on day 3 of the tour, these optional activities do not need to be pre-booked, and are payable on board the vessel.
New Horizon also offers the thrill and fun of scuba diving! Both certified and introductory divers are welcome. The first dive is only $60pp, the second dive is $50pp and can be booked and paid for on board. This gives you an amazing chance to explore the reefs around the Whitsunday Islands for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Those who aren't keen on diving are still able to enjoy plenty of snorkelling while on board New Horizon, where all your gear and tuition is supplied.
When passengers aren't exploring the underwater world, New Horizon will sail to the famous Whitehaven Beach with plenty of time for exploring, sunbaking, relaxing and beach games.
The stop wouldn't be complete without a guided bushwalk to the world-renowned Hill Inlet Lookout where the view is breathtaking.
Back onboard, watch a movie, make a splash on the huge waterslide, relax on the deck or end the day with a paddle board.
The evenings onboard New Horizon is just as exciting with plenty of entertainment and games, and more socialising with a huge drinks among the group.
As a hit backpacker boat, New Horizon must be booked well in-advance. The trip offers shared accommodation only.
