Important Information
The specified deposit amount is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due 2 months prior to departure. Failure to pay the remaining balance before the due date may result in termination of the charter (cancellation fees apply).
To enable us to meet our duty of care and establish an acceptable level of risk, EACH passenger must have a clear understanding of safety directions and instructions given in English by the crew and be able to complete the required safety forms in English. A passenger is only able to participate in water activities if they have a level of swimming experience. If a passenger is unable to swim they will still be able to participate in the sailing trip, but will not but able to participate in water activities such as snorkelling. In order to meet our minimum safety standards passengers must be able exit the vessel unassisted in the unlikely case of an emergency.
What To Bring
Please bring only a small soft bag with:
- Change of clothes
- Swimwear
- Toiletries
- Insect repellent
- Water bottle to refill
- Camera
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses etc.)
- Warm clothes/pullover for evenings (seasonal)
Excess luggage can be stored at our Airlie Beach Travel Shop in town. Please stop in between 9am and 6pm!

What's Extra
- An surcharge applies to some dietary requests and requirements:
- $30pp for 2 days, 2 nights
- $45pp for 3 days, 3 nights
- $60pp for 4 days, 4 nights
Holiday Surcharges
- Tours at sea between the 24th of December to the 2nd of January will incur a local payment once-off fee of $20 per person per night, payable direct at check in.
- Tours departing on Easter Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday will incur a once-off fee of $20 per person per night, payable direct at check in.
Cancellations
All cancellations forfeit the non-refundable deposit. All balance payments are due 2 months prior to departure. Failure to pay the remaining balance before this scheduled date will result in termination of the charter and forfeit of the non-refundable deposit. Once the balance payment has been made, no shows and client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the full ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.

Is there a minimum age?
All ages are welcome on a private charter on Whitsunday Pearl. If you're travelling with children under the age of 6, please let us know at the time of enquiry so special accommodations can be made.
Is there WiFi onboard?
Yes, Whitsunday Pearl has Starlink WiFi so you can stay connected during your charter.
Is alcohol included?
Alcohol is not included but you are welcome to bring your own. Just avoid bringing glass bottles on board.
Can I smoke on board?
Yes, you are permitted to smoke in the designated smoking areas.
Can I charge my phone on board?
Yes, there are regular Australian powerpoints in each cabin, and in the saloon where you can charge your devices.
Is there drinking water on board?
Yes, Whitsunday Pearl has a filtered drinking water tap on board.
Do I need to bring a towel?
No, beach and bath towels are provided for you!
Are there hot showers?
Yes, the showers in the ensuites are all hot water showers.
Is there air-conditioning on board?
Currently there is no AC onboard. However it is in the works for 2025!
