2015 Bowen Fishing Classic

The Whitsundays’ Bowen Fishing Classic is coming around fast with avid anglers getting ready for the biggest fishing competition in the Airlie Beach region.

This year’s popular fishing classic will be held on September 19 and 20, and organisers are attempting another excellent crowd in the event’s 24th year. With more than just fishing, this annual event attracts families and visitors from out of town with its thrilling onshore entertainment including live music, games, fantastic prizes and more.

The actual competition includes an array of categories for all ages including junior s and seniors. This year’s Bowen Fishing Classic will be held at the Bowen Front Beach with all invited to attend.
