It's time to complete the certification you have always dreamed of getting, with the PADI Open Water Dive Course! This top quality organisation will take you to new depths, exploring the stunning living reefs and abundant marine life on the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands. The nice thing with PADI is, that your certification as well as your training material and your logbook will all be in one very easy to use APP, which is totally free to use, so you never can forget or loose either your certification card or logbook and your teaching material is always with you in your pocket.
You can work through your theoretical teaching material on your own time, from the comfort of your home before the course begins. Once you arrive in the Whitsunday, the course takes just three short days, including one day of theory and pool work, and two full days exploring the crystal blue ocean surrounding the Whitsundays Islands!

Day 1:
Start your day going through theory with your instructor, and write your theoretical exam. The majority of your day will be spent in the pool, with nice shallow areas for the first steps and breaths underwater. Then progress to the 3m part of the pool, to get comfortable with your gear at lower depths.
Day 2 & 3:
It's time to explore the open ocean. Experience a total of 4 Open Water Dives, split over 2 days - either from shore or if weather permits, you will take their new purpose-built speedboat out and dive around Hook & Hayman Island.

Do you have a history of respiratory problems, severe attack of hayfever or allergies, or lung disease?
Have you had a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) or history of chest surgery?
Do you have active asthma or history of asthma, emphysema or tuberculosis?
Are you currently taking medication that carries a warning about any impairment of your physical or mental abilities?
Do you have behavioral health problems or a nervous system disorder?
Are you or could you be pregnant?
Do you have a history of colostomy?
Do you have a history of heart disease or heart attack, heart surgery or blood vessel surgery?
Do you have a history of high blood pressure, angina, or take medication to control blood pressure?
Are you over 45 and have a family history of heart attack or stroke?
Do you have a history of bleeding or other blood disorders?
Do you have a history of diabetes?
Do you have a history of seizures, blackouts or fainting, convulsions or epilepsy or take medications to prevent them?
Do you have a history of back, arm or leg problems following an injury, fracture or surgery?
Do you have a history of fear of closed or open spaces or panic attacks (claustrophobia or agoraphobia)?
If any of these conditions apply to you, you will require a Divers Medical Certificate before you can scuba dive.
Cancellations
All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. No shows or client cancellations made within 21 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
