Important Information
The specified deposit amount is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance due 2 months prior to departure. Failure to pay the remaining balance before the due date may result in termination of the charter (cancellation fees apply).
This is a water-based activity, for safety reasons ALL passengers must be able to swim and speak fluent English.
Cruise Ship Passengers:
If your cruise ship itinerary or departure times change within the cancellation policy of your vessel, we will do our best to assist you in finding other alternatives. However, in most cases we will not be able to issue any kind of refund. It is for this reason, that we strongly recommend you have travel insurance, as cruise ship schedules are known to change frequently.
What To Bring
Pack a small soft bag and include:
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel and a hat
- Practical clothing and footwear (warmer items during winter)
- Underwater camera
- BYO alcohol (no glass or red wine) for the boat only
- A sense of fun and adventure!
Any themed decorations are organised and provided at your discretion. No adhesives, hooks or confetti are permitted.
Tongarra has a sound system connection, however entertainment is not included. Please chat to us upon booking regarding any live music, DJs, etc. you wish to accompany your evening to make sure it is a suitable arrangement.
Please note NO large bags, bags with wheels or sleeping bags will be allowed on board.
Excess luggage can be stored at several places in town including most boat check-in offices, most hostels, or at your accommodation. Most charge between $5-10pp for the duration of your trip.

- We also encourage reusable water bottles which can be refilled from the tap onboard.
- Credit card fee of 2% on check-in for any direct deposits.
- Peak holiday seasons (i.e. Christmas, Easter, New Year) may incur a surcharge. Please enquire at the time of booking.
Dietary requirements (vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free etc.) may incur a surcharge on check-in. Please enquire upon booking.
Please note, Tongarra can offer platters and nibble-style catering options. For more comprehensive catering, guests can BYO their own food, or organise an external catering service.
All catering information is subject to change at the operator's discretion without notice.
Cancellations
All cancellations forfeit the non-refundable deposit. All balance payments are due 2 months prior to departure. Failure to pay the remaining balance before this scheduled date will result in termination of the charter and forfeit of the non-refundable deposit. Once the balance payment has been made, no shows and client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the full ticket price.
A refund in the event of cancellation is subject to both our Cancellation Policy and the terms of the supplier.
