The Sydney Sundancer Full Day Private Charter will see you exploring the pristine Whitsunday Islands. The 60ft yacht caters for up to 25 guests, is comfortably furnished and has a spacious foredeck perfect for sight-seeing and sun baking. Important Information:
- The minimum time for a private charter is 4 hours but it is recommended you spend at least 7 to 8 hours on board to ensure you have plenty of time to see everything.
- The destinations you visit may vary due to the current tide and weather conditions.
- There is no cold storage for large groups which is why day charters are BYO. The charterer is responsible for all the catering (both food & beverage) and the crews’ responsibility is only for the safe operation of the vessel.
- There are three large eskies (ice boxes) on board so as soon as the team have stacked them with your beverages and covered with ice they will remain at drinking temperature for the remainder of the day. The cool boxes containing the food will be easily stored on deck until required.

Is there a minimum age for charters?
We accept all ages onboard Sydney Sundancer. Please advise the ages of any guests under the age of 18 when booking. Please Note: Children must be supervised at all times, this responsibility can not be placed on our crew. Note From the Owner: Our decks are flat (not cambered) and very wide so very safe for young and old) Note that the lifelines are much closer together than regulations stipulate giving greater confidence to parents. Life jackets for children are not provided, guests are required to bring their own suitably sized life vests should they wish.
Is alcohol included?
Sydney Sundancer's Day Charters are BYO alcohol. There are eskies (ice boxed) available on board for you to keep your beverages cold.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included so please bring your own. There are cafes and takeaway shops, and an IGA supermarket by the Hamilton Island Marina where you can purchase food to bring on board.
How long can I charter for?
You have the option of selecting a 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 hour charter.
Where does the charter depart from?
Sydney Sundancer departs from the Hamilton Island Marina.
What is the maximum amount of guests who can come on board?
The day charter can fit up to 25 guests on board.
Can I charter Sydney Sundancer overnight?
Yes, we have overnight charter options available if you were looking to spend a few nights out at sea around the Whitsunday Islands.

You have the option of personalising your itinerary so you can choose where you'd like to go in the Whitsundays and your crew will take you there (weather permitting).

Yes, WiFi is available for you to use during your charter.
