Whitehaven Beach
The world-renowned Whitehaven Beach is on everyone's bucket lists. The sand is made up of 98% silica, which is what makes it so pure and white. Whitehaven Beach stretches 7 kilometres in length and is the ideal place to go if you're looking to relax. You can anchor right off the beach, and tender or swim to shore where you can laze in the sand, paddle board, or play with the beach toys provided. Not only is Whitehaven's sand beautiful, the water is equally as luscious as it is crystal-clear. Breathtaking!
Hill Inlet Lookout
If you're looking to snap a new family photo or simply want a photo to show off to your friends back home, then THIS is where to go. Hill Inlet Lookout is the picture-perfect backdrop to your photos. The walk to the lookout winds you through tropical rainforest teeming with wildlife and native plants. The views from the lookout are out-of-this-world! Overlook Whitehaven Beach and the inlet's swirling sands - incredible!
Mantaray Bay
If snorkelling is at the top of your to-do list during your trip, then we can't recommend Mantaray Bay enough! Dive headfirst into the tropical underwater world and come face-to-face with an array of colourful marine life. Mantaray Bay is located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park so you're guaranteed to see an abundance of life! Lookout for green sea turtles, giant clams, clownfish, reef sharks and more!
Langford Island
Want to escape the crowds and have an island to yourself? Then Langford Island is a must. The sandy shores of Langford are a sight to see. Not to mention, the unique reef scattered along the outskirts of the island makes for great snorkelling. Turtles are often seen popping up nearby, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!
Whitsunday Island
The largest island in the region is Whitsunday Island (also home to Whitehaven Beach). The island is covered in gorgeous walking tracks that take you through the rainforest. There are also plenty of lookouts to visit that aren't too much of a trek (especially if you've got little ones with you). Wander through nature and listen to the island mammals and feathery friends come to life!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Bareboat Charter?
A bareboat charter is generally a private charter that comes without a crew or a skipper, meaning you and your guests are in full control of the vessel and itinerary for the duration!
The vessel charter will include all the luxuries you would expect from a commercial charter, such as a well-equipped galley, a refrigerator, bathroom facilities with hot and cold water, bed linen, towels, snorkelling gear, a tender, and all of the safety equipment required to navigate the vessel out at sea.
Here in the Whitsundays, a boating license is not required to bareboat a vessel. However, a professional sail guide and a hostess can be hired at an additional cost (please enquire if this is something you would prefer).
