Fly to Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island) and then enjoy a scenic journey on one of Haymans luxury launches, seaplanes or helicopters. Or fly to Proserpine Airport for a seaplane connection or drive to Shute Harbour for a boat transfer to Hayman.

Hayman Island offers elegant resort living in 210 beautifully appointed Pool Rooms, Lagoon Rooms, Family Rooms, Beach Villas and Penthouses. Designed to take advantage of the magnificent resort surrounds, all Hayman accommodation features private terraces or balconies. All guests can take advantage of our 24-hour Concierge service. Beach Villa and penthouse guests will also receive full Butler service.Your Hayman Butler will contact you prior to your arrival to personalise your Hayman experience.

Beach Wing
An exclusive group of 16 Retreat Rooms offers a strong relationship with the outdoors and the tropical surrounds provide a lush canopy enveloping a veranda and outdoor rinse shower. The interior is a peaceful haven of natural tones and rich grained woods.
Special features include a daybed and an open plan luxurious bathroom with a sunken bath that overlooks a private rockery garden with outdoor rainwater shower.

Beach villa with pool - Representing the ultimate in beachside luxury, these eight villas are located on the absolute beachfront and offer superb views of the Coral Sea.
Each Villa features an open-air private pool, stunning bathroom with freestanding bath and separate indoor and outdoor showers, complimentary in-room bar, internet access and personalised beach service by dedicated hosts. Room Size: 120 square metres.

Beach Villa with pool and separate Retreat Room - Retreat Rooms are partnered with Beach Villas to create the perfect family holiday beachfront setting. Retreat Rooms are set amongst lush gardens and located directly behind the Beach Villas.
Each room features twin or double bed accommodation, open-plan bathroom with sunken bath and private outdoor rainwater shower. Room Size: 38 square metres.

Beach House - The freestanding Beach House is one-of-a-kind, located directly on Hayman Beach offering superb beachfront living.
Features a spacious lounge dining area, double bedroom, enclosed private garden, outdoor pavilion, plunge pool and personalised beach service by dedicated hosts.

Hayman has a long-standing reputation as a food lovers paradise and are committed to creating culinary experiences that will become a high point of your stay with us. Overseeing the resorts impressive kitchen operation is Hayman Executive Chef, Glenn Bacon, who is a multiple award-winner, most recently having been highly commended in the 2010 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence.

Chefs Events
For food aficionados and aspiring chefs, The Chefs Table is an experience to remember. Participating guests are invited backstage into the Main Kitchen for a 6-course dinner with carefully paired wines. The experience is as much an education as it is a wonderful gourmet experience. Chefs provide commentary, explain food pairing concepts and themes, and answer questions from guests throughout the event.
The Chefs Bench is a personalised culinary experience that offers up to 4 guests an intimate banquet in the Main Kitchen. A Master Chef will prepare an exquisite 12-course tasting menu as they enlighten guests with their kitchen secrets and preparation methods. The evening will include the creation of spontaneous dishes using seasonal ingredients and techniques from a range of cuisine styles. Hayman Islands Sommelier will present a selection of superb matching wines to accompany each course.
Both events include a tour of the famous Hayman Island Cellar and can be booked by contacting Concierge.
