How do guests travel around Hamilton Island?
There are free shuttle buses for all Hamilton Island residents and visitors to get around with ease. These run from 6:50am until 11:00pm.

Up to two children (aged 12 and under) per room can stay free when sharing a room with parents and using existing bedding.
Children aged 12 and under may also eat free at at Pool Terrace and Sails when dining with their parents and choosing from the kids menu.
To verify the eligibility for these travel deals, guests will be asked to display their room-key.
Can I pay cash on Hamilton Island?
No, Hamilton Island is a strictly cashless environment.
Please be sure to have a suitable method of payment. Guests who prefer cash transactions may aquire a pre-paid or top-up Mastercard at the Australia Post office on Hamilton Island’s Front Street. Cash deposits and withdrawals are facilitated through the Bank@Post service.
