7kms of the worlds purest silica sand and vibrant waters are just two of many reasons Whitehaven Beach is regarded as one of the worlds best beaches. Located on Whitsunday Island, Whitehaven Beach also provides stunning views of neighbouring islands, unlike anything you've ever seen.
Hill Inlet Lookout
Perhaps the most famous site in the Whitsunday Islands is Hill Inlet Lookout. Located on the Northern end of Whitehaven Beach, the ocean currents and tides shift the sand up the inlet to create a magical swirling masterpiece. This unique landscape is every photographer's dream!
Leap into the unknown as you snorkel in the Whitsundays! Teeming full of life and brimming with colour, the reefs in the Whitsundays are unlike anywhere else in the world. Keep an eye out for Maori Wrasse, sea turtles, stingrays, clownfish, parrotfish and more - there is so much to see, you won't want to miss a thing.
Cruise around island bays and view the coral from above. Stand-Up Paddling is becoming increasingly popular all over the world, so if you haven't yet tried your hand at it, now is your chance! The perfect way to explore the Whitsunday Islands.
