5 Day East Coast Nomads Fraser Tour & Siska Combo features two exciting tours to create a holiday in the Whitsundays and Fraser Coast. Siska is perfect for a typical sailing trip around the Whitsundays, and for this maxi racing yacht, speed does matter! Your exciting agenda includes: a visit to the infamous Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout, a sensational snorkel over some of the best reefs in the world and of course, a great party in the evening after your action-packed day! PLUS, the Nomads Fraser Island 3 Day Tag Along Tour - 2 night accommodation is only way to see Fraser Island, and with 2 nights accommodation, you will have enough time explore at your own pace!

Siska has ample head room throughout the yacht, perfect for our taller guests. The 2 dining tables provide plenty of space for guests to enjoy meals together and create a great social atmosphere. The saloon area also doubles as a comfortable sitting area. On deck, there is ample space for you to relax as well as a boom awning for shade when anchored. Siska Carries just 22 guests with a combination of Single and Double Bunks.

Get a thrill out of driving around the World Heritage listed island in a 4WD on the 3 Day Nomads Fraser Island Tag Along Tour. For 3 days and 2 nights, you can spend your time exploring all of the natural beauty it has to offer. Cruise around 75 Mile Beach, which is actually the island's official road! Enjoy bushwalks, refreshing swims at Eli Creek, Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby and Champagne Pools and see the stunning views from Indian Head. This tour includes 2 nights accommodation in a 16 bed dorm at our Nomads Noosa property and you'll get to enjoy a comfortable 2 night stay in a 4 bed dorm at Eurong Resort on Fraser Island.

We have designed these packages so they are suitable for those wanting to fly, train or bus it and also for those with own cars or campervans. How and when you make way between the Airlie Beach and Rainbow Beach is up to you and at your own cost. It is about 960kms or a 12 hours drive between the two locations, so you need to allow a good day for travel.

What To Bring

Whitsundays - Please bring only a small soft bag with: change of clothes, hat, swim-wear, beach towel, sunscreen 30+, warm pullover for the evenings (seasonal). You will also need to bring your own alcoholic beverages, available for purchase in town. No glass bottles please.

Excess luggage can be stored at several places in town including a 24 hour locker shop or at your accommodation. Most charge between $5-10pp for the duration of your trip.

Fraser IslandPack a small backpack with your camera, a valid current drivers licence (for those who want to drive), your sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, appropriate clothing, toiletries, a sleeping bag (also available for hire) and BYO alcohol and snacks.

What's Included

Whitsundays - Skipper, host, drinking water, meals, linen, wetsuit hire, snorkelling equipment, all Marine Park fees and wet weather jackets if needed.

Fraser Island - 2xnt accommodation in a 16 bed en-suite dorm at Nomads Noosa, 2xnt accommodation in a 4 share en-suite dorm at Eurong Resort , 4WD Vehicle hire, professional and knowledgeable guide, Safety briefing held at Nomads Noosa the night prior to the departure, Meals while on the Island  (Day 1 - lunch, dinner, Day 2 - breakfast, lunch), Fuel, Return ferry transfer to the Island, Local fees

What's Extra

Transfers - Getting between Airlie Beach and Rainbow Beach is not included, but we recommend the Greyhound bus service, they operate an overnight bus North and South bound daily, please enquire with us.

Fraser Island - $ 250 per person fully refundable cash bond to be collected in Rainbow Beach on the way to the Island.  ( drivers - credit card imprint) The bond will be fully refunded provided the vehicle has been returned un-damanged. Please ensure you have $100 in cash as there is no ATM available at Rainbow Beach. Alternatively you can pay $10 non-refundable excess reduction fee instead. Optional - $10 sleeping bag hire per person per trip.

Whitsundays - BYO alcohol (no glass). Soft drinks available for purchase on board.

  • Do you have a history of bleeding or other blood disorders?
  • Do you have a history of diabetes?
  • Do you have a history of seizures, blackouts or fainting, convulsions or epilepsy or take medications to prevent them?
  • Do you have a history of back, arm or leg problems following an injury, fracture or surgery?
  • Do you have a history of fear of closed or open spaces or panic attacks (claustrophobia or agoraphobia)?

If any of these conditions apply to you, you will need to tell the staff when you board the vessel.

Terms and Conditions

All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Tour Operator. The Operator also reserves the right to alter the tour or the itinerary of any of it's tours and organise alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 2.5% surcharge for VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX card purchases.

Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip. Also please note that you need to allow time prior to the boats departure to check in, please ask us for more details


All cancellations made result in 25% cancellation fee of the recommended retail price (RRP), not discounted or sale prices. Any cancellations made 60-30 days prior to travel will result in a 50% cancellation fee and any cancellations made inside of 30 days to departure will result in forfeit of full trip fees. If the sailing company has to cancel the trip (prior to the boat's departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.

Please note it is the responsibility of ALL passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of ANY medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.
