Maxi Yacht Hammer in the Whitsundays
It is the maxi yachts such as Hammer which offer a genuine sailing trip around the Whitsundays with speed, adventure and fun guaranteed.
One of the most famous vessels in the region, Hammer has a fantastic sailing history and is an Australian yachting legend with her career including five consecutive placings in the Sydney to Hobart Race.
The vessel takes 21 guests in total and as it is a slightly shorter 2 day/ 1 night sailing trip this tour attracts a wider age group of guests who are generally 18-40s.
There is ample room on this 75ft maxi, a roll out shade awning on the deck as well as plenty of space of sunbathing or socialising.
And unlike her sister ship Siska, Hammer offers private cabin accommodation as well as the shared option.
With her incredible sailing abilities, Hammer is able to reach great speeds and arrives at each destination quickly for more time snorkelling and swimming along the fringing reefs, beach hopping and even the option to rendezvous scuba dive.
Though the itinerary is slightly shorter, Hammer will certainly visit Whitsunday Island’s famous Whitehaven Beach and the crew will take guests on a guided bushwalk to the well-known Hill Inlet Lookout for a view of the incredible beach below.
After an exciting day sailing around the islands, Hammer will set anchor in a calm, sheltered bay where guests can relax, socialise and enjoy a drink out on the deck, before a hearty meal and some star gazing into the evening.
