2015 Whitsunday Reef Festival
With something for everyone in the family, the popular Whitsunday Reef Festival continues to attract locals as well as those from out-of-town wanting to take part in the colourful activities.
Held over two weekends in July and August, the reef festival incorporates a variety of events, mostly free of charge – from live music, fireworks, starlight movies, sand sculpturing and more.
There also some events in which tickets must be paid for, include the Comedy Gala and Frocktails.
Throughout the festivities, Airlie Beach will also have carnival rides, markets and food stalls and the Light up the Reef art installation and the major events, Family Fun Day, the Rotary Street Parade followed by the Main Street Party.
